Nicklas Lund is a defender for Portland Timbers and an Athlete Consultant with Student Athlete Pathways. A graduate of Oregon State University, he captained the Beavers while making 71 appearances from 2021–2024, earning All-WCC First Team, United Soccer Coaches All-District, and multiple Academic All-District honors.
Career Journey
Elite College Performance
At Oregon State, Nicklas helped lead the program to four NCAA Tournament berths, including a College Cup semifinal appearance in 2023 — a landmark moment in program history.
International Development
Before college, Lund developed in Germany with FC St. Pauli and Hamburger SV and represented Denmark at the U16 level, bringing elite youth academy training and international perspective to his game.

Nicklas signed his first professional contract with Portland Timbers in 2025 and now serves as an Athlete Consultant at SAP, using his firsthand experience across European academies, NCAA soccer, and the professional pathway to guide the next generation of athletes through recruitment and career development.
